FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The UT Arlington men’s and women’s track and field teams finished their first day at the Razorback Invitational with some strong finishes field events and distance runs that were contested.
The Mavericks had three of the top 10 finishers in the men’s pole vault as junior Jared Tuel won the event with a vault of 4.90 meters (16-00.75 feet). That mark was a personal indoor best for him.
He was followed by junior Wade Hayes who finished in fourth at 4.80 meters (15-9 feet) and Cory Carswell who was 10th at 4.50 meters (14-9 feet).
