The Ladyneck track & field team scored 51 points and finished second to East Chambers at the Regional Meet this past weekend. After an outstanding effort in the 1600 meter run Sydney Hamm put the Ladynecks in the lead for the Regional Title with only one race to go in the meet. That performance made her Regional Champion in the 1600 meter. The other individual meet champion in her event was Natalie Craven in the Pole Vault. White Oak had several other girls finish 3rd just missing a trip to the State Meet. Paige Maly in the 3200, Juliana Tuel in the pole vault, Adrian Stephens in the 100 and the long jump.
The Roughnecks had Spenser Lynn as the Regional Champion in two events. The 3200, and 1600 meter runs. Trevor Coppedge was 3rd in the 300 meter hurdles. The boys finished 5th as a team at the meet.
